A Mobile Link enabled generator sends periodic communication messages to our system. If we don’t receive those messages from a generator for awhile, we register the generator status as “Connection Lost”, and notify the user of the situation by showing a gray banner in the mobile link app and website.
Note: At this time, NO email, text or push notifications are sent in the event of a disconnection.
The next time we hear from the generator, we will update the status. If the generator has lost connection this will prevent a user from receiving notifications. If this condition persists it will be necessary to check the network connection the generator is using.
