Welcome to the Mobile Link App! Please note that we are improving our applications based on feedback from consumers and reported issues. We are also adding new functionality every month. If you open our app in the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Android) you can view all the app updates.

ANDROID USERS: Play Store> Mobile Link for Generators
APPLE USERS: App Store> Mobile Link for Generators
IMPORTANT NOTE: You will need a new mobile link account established BEFORE you can begin to use the App. If you have gone through the process of verifying your email and creating a new password, then you are ALL SET!
If not, then go to https://app.mobilelinkgen.com to create an account. Also, if you are working with a dealer, they may have sent you an invitation email with a link, to connect your account click the link in the email.
LETS GET STARTED!
- Download the Mobile Link for Generators app as mentioned above.
- Open the app enter your email and click CONTINUE.
- Enter your password, and if you choose to click the box next to REMEMBER THIS DEVICE. click NEXT.
NOTE: From this screen, if you have forgotten your password, you can hit the RESET PASSWORD button and a new verification code will be sent to your email.
- If you can see a tile with your generator called the DASHBOARD.
- From the dashboard you can change your ACCOUNT SETTINGS, by pressing the arrow at the top left of the screen. If you have multiple generators, the account settings will apply to all generators.
- Click on the PERSON image, and your personal account settings will open. You may edit things like turning on or off notifications, your address, and logging out of the application.
- To exit the account settings, click the arrow in the upper left-hand corner.
To update the generator settings, click on the image of your generator.
- Click on the gear in the upper right-hand corner.
- This will give you options to update the name of your generator, add a preferred dealer, status history, exercise schedule*, maintenance, and technical specs.

Generator Name: This is the name of the generator given when it is initially registered with Mobile Link or if dealer managed, by your dealer. Keep in mind, that dealers use this generator name to assist their techs so before you update please consider checking with them first. Make sure

Preferred dealer: The preferred dealer could be someone you receive tech support from, purchase parts, or have an established maintenance contract. This will be entered automatically for those generators that are DEALER MANAGED which is related to the Mobile Link subscription.

Status History: This will list all the history the generator has reported since the device was installed.

Exercise Schedule: This will list the generator's scheduled exercise time. This helps the generator maintain proper use and test for any issues that may arise. We also need to make sure the fluids are run through the generator so that at the time you have an outage the generator is in good health. We are working on enhancing the opportunity for older generators/ control panels to display this information to the Mobile Link App.
*If you have a message to add the exercise schedule or you do not see the exercise schedule, your generator may not be communicating with Mobile Link. We are working on alternatives to the way we obtain the Exercise schedule due to these communication issues with the control panel.

Maintenance: Any time your generator is serviced, you should have a maintenance record created. Similar to your vehicle the generator will need oil changes, new batteries, and other scheduled maintenance to keep your generator in good health. You will see the ability to add a new Maintenance record to your account right from the App.

Technical Specs: This section will list the serial number of your generator, as well as any manuals and parts that are needed. There are other technical specifications related to the model of your generator that could be helpful.

Lastly, please note you will not see any billing information in the application. This is by design and has to deal with some additional limitations from Apple and other vendors that make online payments through the App more complicated. If you need to update your billing address or credit card please log to your account through a web browser https://app.mobilelinkgen.com If you are dealer-managed, all billing for Mobile Link is managed through your dealer.
