How I do select a preferred dealer in Mobile Link?

Associating a preferred service dealer in Mobile Link ensures that the contact information for that dealer is within easy access whenever needed.   This also provides the Mobile Link system with a clear indication of which dealer you prefer to work with and any relevant communications will ensure this relationship is considered.  A preferred dealer can be defined using both the Mobile Link website and the Mobile Link App.

To Select a Preferred dealer using the Mobile Link website

1. Open and web browser, navigate to and log in to the Mobile Link website at https://app.mobilelinkgen.com
   
   
   
   
2. Click the generator card/box or  in the top right corner
   
   
   
   
3. Click the Preferred Dealer tab
   
   
   
   
4. Click LOCATE A DEALER to search for a dealer by zip code. Alternatively, click ADD MY INSTALLER to search by name. 
   
   
   
   
5. Enter a Zip Code to search nearby. You can use the to adjust the desired search distance parameters, and then click .
   
   
   
   
6. A list of dealers that fall within the defined parameters is displayed. Review the list of dealers, then click on the desired dealer.
   
   
   
   
7. Click SET AS PREFERRED DEALER to choose this dealer as the preferred dealer for this generator.
   
   
   
   
8. A preferred dealer has now been selected
   
   

To Select a Preferred dealer using the Mobile Link app

1. Open and log in to the Mobile Link app.
   
   
   
   
2. Tap the generator card/box or  in the top right corner
   
   
3. The generator's details page will appear.  Tap the icon in the top right corner of the screen.
   
   
   
   
4. The Generator Options menu will open.  Tap the Preferred Dealer menu option.
   
   
   
   
5. Click LOCATE A DEALER to search for a dealer by zip code. Alternatively, click ADD MY INSTALLER to search by name. 
   
   
6. Enter a Zip Code to search nearby. You can use the  to adjust the desired search distance parameters, and then click . A list of dealers that fall within the defined parameters is displayed. Review the list of dealers, then click on the desired dealer.
   
   
7. The Dealer Details page will appear.  Click SET AS PREFERRED DEALER to choose this dealer as the preferred dealer for this generator.
