The Mobile Link Android and iOS apps require permission to access certain aspects of your mobile device or phone, for it to function correctly. These permissions include access to provide notifications, which allow the app to deliver push notifications to indicate events that occur on a generator. Additionally, for the app to successfully connect a generator to an available Wi-Fi network, the app must be granted permission to location access, as this is the aspect of the phone that allows it to search for available Wi-Fi networks. In most cases, the app will prompt a user for these permissions the first time it is used, however, if a user is not prompted or if the permissions are initially denied by the user, it may be necessary to access these settings on the device to allow access manually.
